From coffee cup to coffee soap to coffee shop. The journey of a collaboration between Cliffe House Organics and Stream Yard Coffee Co launching Workers Soap.
Bespoke, handmade, artisan coffee soap wrapped in papers made from recycled coffee cups crafted for one of Sheffield’s best Coffee Shops. A creative partnership born from the love of high quality artisan products made and produced the traditional way. When Steam Yard approached Cliffe House Organics about our private label service we soon learned we could do something really special with a Coffee infused soap.
Matt form Steam Yard Coffee Co was looking for something they could give their customers and suppliers as a gift when a cup of Coffee just wouldn’t do. After seeing a working hands soap he had the idea of a branded soap that contained coffee. He reached out to Thom at Cliffe House Organics who instantly knew exactly where to go with this project.
Cliffe House Organics wrap all their soaps in Recycled Coffee cup papers supplied by James Cropper from their Coffee range. James Cropper developed ways of giving used coffee cups a second chance. The result is a world first coffee cup recycling plant opened by HM The Queen in 2013 and, now, a range of fine papers. Coffee-themed colours contain not only 50% reclaimed cup fibres, but the essence of environmentally conscious paper making.
These papers along with a unique handcrafted soap containing 100% Lemon essential oils along with Coffee for a an EXFOLIATING AND SCENTED SOAP FOR CLEANING SMELLS FROM WORKING HANDS LEAVING A ZINGY FRESHNESS. Steam Yard Workers Soap is a 95g bar containing 100% natural & organic materials including Coffee. Coffee has incredible deodorizing properties and can take strong smells off skin with just one wash, this soap really is the perfect combination for working hands. With consumers looking more than ever for natural, ethical and well sourced products this amazing soap couldn’t come at a better time.
Each Soap is hand wrapped and printed using solid inks giving the packaging its finishing touches. The soap is now available at Steam Yard’s award winning Coffee shop on Division Street in Sheffield centre and more information on there twitter or facebook accounts.
